I'm looking for ideas for board games for 2 people. Seems like a lot of games are played with 4 or more players. Any ideas? This would be adults, or teens not small kids.

Checkers, Chess are a couple that come to mind also. Battleship, Rummikub aren't board games but 2 people can play them.

backgammon

We play scrabble - the cooking or gardening version. Each has a fun twist.

We also play Rack-o.

Yahtzee, Jenga, Monopoly, Chinese Checkers, Connect Four, Farkle(it is a dice game you can buy)

I enjoy Mexican Train also and my grown children always get up a game when they are visiting. I always lose, but it is still fun.
