This is not a giant cardón... don't know what exactly to call it, but the plant looks quite different from the other photo

I'm no kind of expert but I was looking at The Desert Botanical Garden Phoenix searchable database with photos.
Here is the page for Pachycereus pringlei; most of the images are of smaller plants :

The photo with the flowers is a Senita aka lophocereus schottii (or pachycereus schottii these days, I think).
It is what it is!
