I have considered going, but it is very tough to get prime time summer time off from work. As it gets closer, I will have a better idea. It isn't too far away from me so it is well within the possibility.
My daylily club is trying to get a bus trip together for Saturday and one of the stops will be the Chicago Botanical Garden. I can't wait to see the lily show. If the bus doesn't get filled I'll be going anyway.
It's official, my wife and I will be going to the show. If anyone is going and wants to meet up shoot me a tree mail. Very excited for my first show! Unfortunately I have a beautiful stem of Elusive that probably would be opening at the perfect time that I will be leaving at home due to the lower leaves being ravaged by the red beast.
Fellow Lily Lovers, can anyone point me to a text or document the would clarify whether the lilies I want to enter in the NALS show should be in Section D-Clones or Section E-Strains. I really don't know how to determine this. For instance is the Leslie Woodruff OT I purchased from Judith a number of years ago at the Lily Garden a clone or a strain? Thanks for your patience with this question.
