I think on Crockett's Victory Garden they used Dianzathon, but I don't think that's available anymore. Try diatomaceous earth.
billyporter said:You may have better luck. The first year I had big bulbs and they got hot. Eventually we replaced all of them with the smaller cooler bulbs. That didn't help either. I think the little sprouts just got too hot.

Now you did it. I sowed 9 containers of broccoli and cabbage this morning. I see they soaked up the water so I'll be taking them to the garage. It's unheated and they should do better out there.
