I want to thank everyone for participating in my swap. It was a little smaller than I had hoped for, but I think it still went well. There were a number of factors that contributed to the small size of the swap, which I am sure I will be able to overcome in the next one. I appreciate everyone sticking with me and not jumping to one of the large swaps. I do plan on doing this again in the fall and hope you will all join me then. Thank you, Jay, for hosting this swap. I think it went well for a test run, especially being put together so quickly at the last minute. Planning ahead will be a positive factor, giving people who want to join more time.

I'll be collecting more seeds this spring and summer too. I wasn't planning on joining any seed swaps in 2015 so there were wildflower seeds I didn't bother collecting.

I would have liked to join this swap but I am new to ATP and was too late. Maybe there is a way for 'late comers' to be incorporated even while trading is occurring but before the close of trading and mailing out of seeds deadline as long as there is room in the swap (ie, both occurring simultaneously)?

to ATP! Unfortunately we missed several people who arrived to late. Some of the host have expressed a desire to allow people to join late. Hopefully that will happen before my next swap in the fall. I hope you be able to join us for that one.

I think it went really well too even with so few people. I look forward to participating in another one later in the year and hopefully I can add some new things. I've added some reminders to my Google calender about harvesting seed earlier in the season too. I usually don't get into "seed mode" until the fall and forget all about the spring bloomers that set seed in summer.

I'm curious was that extra name in the swap list someone who dropped out early or did they join just to observe how the system works?

He joined but never made any effort to participate. I Tree-mail him and never got a response.

@ MariposaMaid , I am hoping to host a swap in the next few weeks. Hope you join that one. This swap was great, and I'll be collecting and saving seeds for the fall swap!
