I especially like the thumbs because it saves me typing an "I agree" post.

Rick, I think she was referring to the green boxed thumbs up with the number next to it at the bottom of every post.

I have been reading about the thumbs up feature for weeks and just now found it and figgured out were it is. I was looking for an icon with an actuall thumb up feature like a little picture and never figgured out it was the green line. In fact I never even noticed the green line

Rita: Green line? There's a green box right at the end of every post that shows a thumbs up. If you like a particular post or photo etc. you can click on that little green box and give that item a thumbs up.

Also, at the bottom of the page in our cute little icons, fifth one from the right there's this little guy ... a green thumbs up!

I think I read that some folks using certain browsers (or OS?) couldn't see the green thumbs up, only a line. Maybe it was further up in this thread; can't remember if there was a solution to it but maybe someone else can.

You must be using Internet Explorer. You should be seeing a green square with a thumbs up outline on it. IE cuts off about half of it for me.

Oops, I must have missed that or forgot about it (I'm "older" and blonde too!) I use Safari and Firefox and I always see the green box with the thumbs up.

Well yes I do see the thumbs up in the smilly icons but I don't think that would be the same thing. I do use internet explorer and I only see a green line at the bottom towards the right but in front of all the lined message item things that tells you what number post this is. That is all that is there, a green line.

I use that icon in my own posts when I am taking so didn't see it as the same as a thumbs up. If it is the same then one can just keep giving oneself thumbs up which I don't think is the intent. So I put the icon here Did I just give upself a thumbs up?

That green line your seeing is it but IE is cutting it down. ATP works better in other browsers, I am using Firefox for ATP.

Also I Don't see anything special show up on any post that gets a thumbs up.

Jay I gave you a thumbs up my clicking on my green line. It turned grey.

Your profile page shows how many thumbs up you've given and received and if you click on that space you can see where they were rec'd/given.
