I came from North Dakota where the parks are full of them. We fed them nuts and watch their carefree play. Here in El Paso we have very few squirrels. I would love to buy a dozen babies, and nurse them to be big and strong, and try really hard to keep them fed in my yard, but for now I'll feed my birds, and watch them fluttering in the early morning hours. At one time I had 80 birds in my back yard, and it was hot outside. Something made A ratteling noise, and all at once they flew up in the air, I was very pleased with them they made a breeze when they left me.
