pitcherell - Welcome! to ATP Daylily Forum!

I have Paper Butterfly. It was one of my very first acquired registered daylilies (I grow mostly unregistered and un-named seedlings). I agree that it does have a beautiful flower! I used it a LOT this past season in my hybridizing. The only issue I saw with it is that even though it has "some" resistance to rust (important quality living in the south), it still got more rust than I like to see. But it is a beauty and I hope it makes some nice children!

I loved the photos of Paper Butterfly that I saw. I bought it early in my daylily addiction. Problem is, it doesn't open well here. Not until last summer anyway. Last summer we had an unusually hot season. And I finally got to see PB fully opened in my garden. I guess I'll have to send it elsewhere though. Because getting to see it fully opened for just one year out of 8 isn't going to work. I'll just have to admire it in photos again.
