These look sort of flattened-out from those in your other photos of same plant? Or different plant? I actually like this look better but it's probably due to the weather?

Yes, it is due to the time of year and weather. The color and size of the rosettes change. It is a great sedum. Would you like some? On your covered deck they might stay like this photo most of the year.
