Moved the few two year olds this morning to the hybridizing area, these are the ones that did not bloom last year or I did not think they were good enough last year. Had to get this done because I need the beds for the babies.

This is the only dip I moved, not crazy about the flower, but an awesome scape.
This came from a 2.5" round flower and a 16" spider. Why would I make a cross

The spider is Aldersgate, 16" bloom 38" scape, sorry I didn't make that clear.

When I went back and reread it, it was clear enough, I just mis-read! Normal after the frustrating day I had at work the last couple of days. On the other hand, a 16 inch flower? Oh my! Aldersgate might have to go on my " wish I had it list" Thanks for clarifying it Fred ~Jan

ZAHADOOM X BLUE LAKE another 5" on a great scape. This is the last purple(other than UFs) I will have, I have decided not to do any more because they will not take the heat and humidity here. This will be lined out in the sun this fall to watch next year, time will tell.

They are all just gorgeous Fred, I can't pick a favorite I love all of them.

I love each and every one of those, and particularly the first two! Wow!

I would have a very hard time picking a favorite from that last grouping. They are all just fantastic!!!

The seedlings I got from you on the LA earlier this year are very happy, time will tell whether they will enjoy winter or not ~Jan

That has narrowed the 2500 two year olds down to about 20, next fall they will be culled again and maby I can keep 3 or 4 of them to line out for possible registration.
