This is not Aloe vera, which makes yellow flowers and does not get nearly as big. To me it looks like Aloe ferox, a tree aloe with a multi branched inflorescence. Compare with this image:



If you agree, would you like me to move the aloe to the ferox page? Or would you prefer the image be moved to the generic aloe page?
