I've read about this years ago and noticed the article in another thread as well. I wouldn't want to take credit away from @Sandnsea2 Thank You! but thought this would lighting up a wintry day in our forum especially.

@lestv it's approximately 920 Meadowlark Rd. in Winston-Salem, NC. I'm sure something on that street will be a clear give away. Whistling

She only has a few more then most of us. I wish I had her problem. I could have last year though when someone up by San Fransico/ Sacramento was selling like 2500 irises, all names and came with plant markers, etc. She enjoys the flowers and seems like other enjoy them too.

$2-$4 cultivars, it's worth a look. I'm sure she'll have some Grrreat Historics and some great other varieties too. They say you can weed her garden for rhizomes too Rolling on the floor laughing I can dig em and plant them the same day

Wish I would have known about this, on second thought that might have been very dangerous for me. Rolling on the floor laughing

If I only had the graden space I would have gotten it. Also if I had the help. I think she was asking around $3 a rhizome.
