I'm so sorry for all your rain Arlene Crying We've had so much rain this year too.

It has snowed here since the wee hours of the morning and will snow until tomorrow morning. It's deep - so thankful for electricity as there are many power outages.

Stay dry!

I sure hope you, or Sharon, don't lose power. If you don't have to go anywhere you can wait it out, but if you lose power, it's only quaint for an hour or two. Not sure if Sharon has a fireplace, but even if she does, I doubt she has wood. I'm guessing you have a wood stove?

Has it been awhile since you've had that much snow? Or do you rarely get snow there, like here?

Yes, we have two wood stoves and a propane 2 burner camp stove and the grill is propane. I always have at least 20 gallons of drinking water stashed and we have lots of peanut butter and crackers Green Grin!

Our last big snow was Christmas day 2010 and there was a terrible ice storm in early 2000's and we were without electric for over a week Crying

We're at 17 hours of snow right now and it won't stop til tomorrow morning so we haven't even attempted to shovel or plow.

45 and sunny on Sunday so hopefully the melt will begin.

Windchill is currently 14 so praying we keep electric.

Snow, snow and more snow for me. No electrical problems though, thankful for that. In places the snow is up to nearly my knees, but I haven' really measured it yet.

I don't have a fireplace but on days like this, I surely wish I did.
