I know it's a stretch, but having no luck identifying myself. These just arrived from Thailand and were supposed to be plumeria seeds. They look like no plumeria seed I've ever seen.

Thanks

You might be lucky. They look like Adenium seeds to my old eyes.

Thanks Greene,
I was searching and that's my best guess also. Maybe it's a sign to try Adenium along with my Plumeria.

There are quite a few ATP members who grow Adenium. We have an entire forum devoted to Adeniums here:
http://garden.org/forums/view/...

There are lots of folks who get pretty excited growing Adeniums so I won't name them all.
One of the people who loves Adeniums is Rainbow; I can use the @ symbol to draw attention to this thread...

(Hey, @Rainbow !! Do these look like Adenium seeds to you?)

Hi Gerald, those definitely look like adenium seeds!

Here are some images of plumeria seeds for comparison.

According to the literature though, plumeria seeds come in all kinds of variations in form. The seeds in your picture have some roughness on the surface, whereas adenium seeds are smooth. So....they very well could be plumeria seeds. Whistling

Thanks Rainbow. I've grown a couple dozen plumeria so far from seed and have only seen the seeds that look like little beta fish. I am also on the Plumeria forums as is why I initially joined this forum after stalking it for a few months. I'm going to go ahead and soak the Adenium seeds overnight and plant in the morning and see what I get (colors). Thank you very much for the feedback. This truly is the best plant/garden forum I've seen.

Thank You!
