Nope it is a glider.

I do have several old chairs though, just not that far out in the elements. Yet.
Little chairs, big chairs, I love chairs.
I've painted many of them, which is another subject entirely.
I'm getting ready to paint one yellow-ish to match a garden bench, with viney thingys.
Just in time for fall.
Ha!

Show us pictures Sharon! I would love to see it! I picked mine up free out of the junk pile at an auction. Don't have the tray or anything fancy, and had to sand it down and prime and paint it, but I think it looks cute outside in the yard.

Am I the only one already thinking ahead for next year and winter sowing? Guess moving some things got me started, but I'm going to want some things for next year Rolling on the floor laughing

Here ya go, Sandi. I brought it in earlier because my mom painted it pink when I was little, and I need to paint it a different color. Still haven't got it done, though. Anyway, it was for my dolls when I was little, then I guess she used it for plants too. It will soon be a different color .

The grilled cheese was yummy, I'm here to tell you.
Sorry I didn't make enough for all of you.
Mmmmmmmmmm...yummmmmmmmm.

Oh, that's so adorable Sharon. Do you not want to keep it pink?

No, nothing pink about my house.
And, I think it should stay inside now, it's getting a little rickety.

The table behind it, which I also painted years ago, looks a little pink, but it's actually coral–ish orange. So no, no pink.

What an adorable chair. Is that wicker around the rim on the back? Love it!

Yes, wicker.
Don't know about the cactus. Friend gave it to me when it was about an inch long. That was in May, so I dunno yet.

Nope, I usually only paint wildflowers on chairs, though I did paint a magnolia on a commissioned chair once. Oh and a poinsettia for a Christmas chair another time. Since I'm keeping this for myself, and since the tray is tiny I'll probably stick to the wildflowers. BUT, Charleen, I'm getting ready to paint a table, and just for you I'll paint a rose on it. OK?? And maybe on the barstool to match the table. How's that?

Oh, your chair is adorable! I love that you are bringing it in and will be using it inside to help it last longer. And I can honestly say, there is no pink in my house either Hilarious! Grilled cheese, what a wonderful "comfort" food! And Sheila what a great way to put that! Not sure I'd have thought that without you pointing it out! Thanks!

Well I have a little red chair that my Mother's Dad made for my Aunt's dolls. However, when my Mom was born she was small enough to sit in it, so they gave it for her as a keepsake. When I was born Mom said I fit in it......and when my son came along ....wel.... I took his diaper off and squeezed his b..tt in to it!! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Whistling

I used to collect minature chairs.....one of those many things I found collected dust!

I think we ought to paint chairs. I have one small one, possibly two, and I have my own little rocking chair. Plus I have maybe 3 or 4 normal sized chairs. Might be a fun project for winter when we bring potted plants inside. Or we could do them for outside, but they don't last very long there. Good on porches, thought. I love chairs.
I hope this is the right photo, can't tell...
