Another chair project waiting. Have the chair, have some succulents, have to make the time. This one will have to be brought in over winter, of course, as succulents are not hardy here like they were in CA. Could use something else, but I luv succulents!!

It's been that way for a couple of years now. Sigh! So instead of a planted chair, I could call it a plant stand.

Ok...These kiddos are my sister's grandkids..."my greats" as I call them. Since I don't have GKs I get to have fun with them when I can.

A couple years ago I painted the chairs a solid color and let the kids have fun and put whatever they wanted to on them when they were here for Easter 2009. The only rule was that they put their name on them. I have all colors and rubber stamps.

Well fast forward to this last spring and Mattison must sit in the chair when she comes over. Daisy is trying for her attention! The chairs have lost their colors and it is time for a do over ....maybe for Easter this next year?

I remember seeing those chairs somewhere some time ago, Sheila. Loved them then, still do!

Sharon, I went back up to look at your high chair again. That is an awesome idea for a planter or a place to put a pretty pot. I hope my yard doesn't start looking like Sanford and Son's yard. I love all these ideas. And with paint, a good sealer, and light winters, I can still have color in my garden this winter.

I bought a chair without a bottom for $1.00 at a garage sale a few years ago. And happily, I had a pot with a nice lip that fit right inside the hole and I never did a thing to it. At the time, I was into rustic. Now I'm into painted chairs. HA ve brush, will paint!

Oh yes, I am loving paint now a days too Becky. Do you still have the chair?
