This is my comingout: I love moss in my garden. I love moss-gardens. Lovey dubby

Some of the easiest mosses is irish moss (Sagina subulata). Looks amazing under trees and needs absolutely no care. Only: they will not grow where there is no humidity and too much sun.
Place some stones and stone-figures in the middle and relax! Rolling my eyes.

Welcome! @Insagi I never thought a moss would look beautiful but yours do.

Moss is my favorite shade plant too. My yard is full of various types of moss, some even growing in full sun below the grass. It transplants easily and can become a "yard" in my miniature garden plantings.

I like my native moss that colonizes where conditions are right. It usually grows between my firepit stones during the winter, then fries in the summer. I use one of those bamboo brooms to just sweep it away when it is looking ragged. I tried irish moss at the top of my firepit steps but it got a bit too exuberant (swallowed the stone landing) so I've moved it to another location.

My son diligently tries to pull the moss from his lawn every year, while I counsel him to just embrace it. Soft on the feet, stays low, nice green.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

Moss is, also, very low maintenance! I don't know who came up with planting grass as a lawn covering!! I'd be happy with just about anything I didn't have to mow!
