Thank you very much, Chris.
I have a question for Lynn. Lynn, you are sure that your allionii from Col de Turini, is really an allionii? Col de Turini is a J. allionii station, but your plant do not resemble at this specie.
J. allionii has always hairy leaves, never glabrous, and offsets are produced from the base. I hope you can see in the photo.

Some nursery sell plants with wrong names.

Mariangela, I did not know that about allionii. And yes, I did buy it from a nursery. Do other globiferum species grow in the Col e Turini area?

Marcos thanks for the lovely pictures!! So pretty! I can feel the warmth in the pictures!
I have 2 or 3 different allionii and didn't realize they grow from the bottom - I think all of mine grow from the top like other rollers, so mine are all NOIDS - I am going to pay closer attention before confirming this though! Thanks for the info Thumbs up

They grow from the bottom? Confused Whaddya mean? They offset from underneath?
Looking at this guy, I can maybe see that. It's not polka-dotted all over with offsets like some other rollers.

Lynn, J. allionii is the only Jovibarba that grow in Col de Turini area. May be, your plant do not come from that place.
To identify correctly a Semps from the photo is not easy, but your plants are very different from wild plants and I am not sure they are true allionii. I have some difficulties to explain in english. The most important morphologic characteristic of allionii that permits to distinguish it from others is:
hairy leaves, offsets near the ground (see photos).

Okay, I will go out and look at mine. I do see what you are saying about the one from Col de Turini. Another NOID for me. I'll contact the nursery I got it from.
Would you say this is a form of hirta?

Lynn, I think that your plant is a form of Jovibarba globifera subsp. globifera

Thanks for info - I have an alionii from Aionia which I will check to see if correct using this same standard.
I tip my hat to you.

Love Lovey dubby the rollers. Just have to keep them separated from most plants as they end up all over the place!

Great red babies on yours @Madcratebuilder!

I'd like to ask if these are rollers:

Thumb of 2016-09-26/3mark/481102

The bottom-left corner one obviously is, but I mean all the other ones, they're different than the one in the corner.

They were in two pots with other plants, including semps. No new offsets of any kind have been observed by me.
So, do these look like rollers to you, or are they "regular" semps?

I'd say they're rollers! I got some that are similar, although mine multiply like crazy. Even my 6 month old seedlings are already forming small colonies.

Thank you for answering. If they are indeed rollers, they're in the right pot Green Grin!

No, none of them bloomed. I only got them a few months ago - and they've just been sitting there.
