Any idea, what this might be? Stems are fleshy like on tradescantia.
Leaves are similarly size and firm and fleshy too.
The variegation intrigues me - very pretty veining.
Seen in Kampong garden, Miami FL.

Looks like I need to change the name on my file folder too; had no idea it had changed names. I don't have that plant any longer but I do still have Pellionia pulchra ... guess I should check to see if that one has changed also.

thanks! this is so-o pretty :). i noticed that on bonitin's pic the margins are burgundy and there is much less veining.
is it due to more light exposure or there are different cultivars?

I'm not sure ... maybe my plant is actually a different one and in the wrong database entry? I don't even remember where I got the plant; it could have been purchased as a small house plant or I could have gotten it in a trade. It was identified by someone on DG back @ 2007 as Trailing Watermelon Begonia/Pellionia daveanuana.

yes, i can see that yours also has dark margins and no green veining like bonitin's.
and when i google i see images of both, green-veined (mine) and burgundy-edge (DB entry) come up as Pellionia daveanuana.
they are very similar, just the coloration is somewhat different - enough for it to be a different cultivar. But i don't see any cultivars listed anywhere.

perhaps this is old or incorrect (or both ;).. but it seems to me it's talking about P. repens vs P. daveu...as 2 different Pellionias. It describes P. daveu as having veining with dark green or olive margin (mine?). Perhaps, P. daveu is NOT the same as P. repens ?

They must be variable skylark,
Catalogue of Life lists Pellionia daveauana as one of the many synonyms of Pallionia repens..
