I am in love with the banners. All of them.
This sedum above is wonderful...it should be called
"In My Easter Bonnet".
It reminds me of long ago Easter in the 50's ....the fragrance of hot cross bunswafting out of the bakery on the avenue... ...Sunday mass....patent leather "T" straps, REAL silk stockings, and a new black patent purse....a new spring coatbif there was money....and the bonnet....well the colors of this banner says it all about that bonnet. Oh my heart feels so good!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
Wow Rosie, congrats! Really, really, nice banner. Love the colors and the fullness. (and I really thought you were much younger...not one to remember the 50s!)
Rosie, if you keep the Site Banners Forum among your watched forums, it's easy to give a thumbs-up to the ones you like best and to comment on them. I love your memory of Easters long ago and I hope you'll add it to the comments on today's banner.

That is not my photo. Are the banners contributed by members? I just saw it and it reminded me of my long ago easter dress and bonnet. That dress had lilac sprays all over it. And the patent leather shoes had "princess " heels. I had forgotten ALL of that...the church bells calling everyone to mass. I grew up in NY.
Smiling thru tears and all because of a photo. My mom and dad are long gone. Ah, childhood memories.
