I have an epi that is supposed to be Venetian affair. The foliage is very slim and triangular. It's leaves are not flat like other epis, but not as ridged as an aporophyllum. Is this normal? I am wondering if I have mis-labeled it.
Thanks for your help,
Linda

Linda, do you have a photo you can upload? This site says 'Venetian Affair' has flat, narrow stems: http://www.mattslandscape.com/...

Hi Linda, The Venetian cutting you sent to me is certainly triangular, kind of darkish red but is getting quite fat. I would describe the larger branches as heavy. No sign of flat leaves. I'm hoping for blooms this year.
I must go take a pic.

Thank you for that link Lin. Mine certainly doesn't look like that one in the picture. Mike, after looking at the pic in the link, I am not sure what I sent you. I will try to upload a picture today.
Thanks so much.

I don't have Venetian affair but some of my epis have those branches. And some of them have flat branches together with flat ones. I think it is normal.
