Linda (LindaTX8) shared this nursery with me and I contacted them, asking permission to use their photos of their BEAUTIFUL purslane plants.

This is my favorite and even the name is great! The vblooms are 2". I can't wait until it warms up and I can order.

I went to this site, they don't have any purslane listed? Did they stop carrying them?

Oh Linda, that is sad!!!!!

I goggled purslane last night to find nurseries that sold purslane and only found one and they are out of it.

It's almost like purslane is the beloved plant that isn't around much anymore! Portulaca is easy to find!

I won't give up. I found some on DG, and sent him a dmail. He said that Purslane Fairytale Cinderella is sterile, and does not produce seeds, but he is going to send me some cuttings. He said they start really easy!

I received my favorite seed catalog yesterday and for the first time ever, they are offering purslane seed. I know they are difficult to germinate but I'm going to buy some anyway. Lowes sells them as plants in June so I'll know for sure by then if my seeds are viable. Stay tuned.....

My purslane looks greta still, No blooms but the green leaves are lush.
