This a great picture with that beautiful flower, but I am pretty sure this is C. spinosior.

You may be right, I took that picture at the botanic garden and the sign said C. imbricata, of course it could have been a mistake, those things happen.
I don't know what the right course of action would be at this point, maybe Dave can help Smiling
