I kept my Red Lion Amaryllis from last Christmas (2014)
After it had finished flowering
I think I followed all of the instructions for it to re flower this year.
I took it outside during the summer and watered and fertilized it as part of my regular care for my garden flowers. I let it sit in my garage for 2 months to let it hibernate and then re-potted and brought it into the house
It did not do anything for 3 months and then it started to grow again.
Unfortunately all I am getting is 3 large leaves. No stalk and no flowers.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks Brian

It will probably flower in its own time.
I find that they don't flower when I want them to flower.
But they will surprise you by throwing a flower stock when you least expect them to.
Some of mine flower when the tomatoes are ripe!?

If your bulb bloomed at Xmas '14 and spent the summer outside last year, it is healthy (hence the new leaves) but it may not bloom this year at all. After the 2014 Xmas blooms for you, the bulb may have been so depleted, from the grower's special forcing process, that even with good care in the summer, it did not have the reserves necessary to form the new flowers, which would have appeared this winter/spring. It can sometimes take 2 or even 3 years of care, before the bulb will bloom again. As long as you got leaves your bulb is fine. Those leaves are making the sugar necessary to rebuild the bulb. And occasionally, these "no-show" bulbs will surprise you, and send up a very late bloom if they have had a good summer. Flowers buds are formed, deep in the bulb, the summer before they appear.
