Hello cillay! I prefer to do it in Spring. I usually try to get at least three leaves together as a cutting, wait a bit till it gets callused then stick cutting into a moistened well draining cacti mix with added pumice and some compost.

I agree with Tarev but I lay my branchlet flat on the soil and make sure each joint is in contact with the soil. They have the potential to root at every joint.
