I was just reading some recently filed Local Reports and they were for daylilies, and it said growing year 2016. Now I am thinking the report is filed in 2016 but shouldn't it read "growing year 2015, or whatever year the actual growing was done in?

When you go to fill out the report it has the current year as a default, but you should replace that with the actual growing year that you are reporting. If you had the plant for several years you can create a report for each year.
