Another salvia I haven't grown. The flowers do look pretty.

So many salvias to pick from each year. Hilarious!

This is normally listed as Salvia guaranitica. It is one of the hardiest of them and rather vigorous

I will be getting 2 of these beauties this year! Very excited as I think they will look beautiful near the darker blue flowered form and others.

Yes, I grew a patch of Argentina Skies and Brazil for a number of years and the combination of the two colors was fantastic.

I love this underrated salvia. As Ward says, 'argentina skies' and a dark blue guaranitica like 'blue ensign' make a great combination. When both plants are loaded up with blooms at the end of the season it's a fantastic look. I got my original 'argentina skies' plant ten years ago and it continues to return every spring. I cover it with a thick layer of leaves every winter and it works well.
