Some new seedlings for 2016. A few days after germination.
These are some seedlings from seed that I received from a good friend. Really looking forward to watching them grow.

I have wanted to start these different species of Adeniums for some time and it is only through some very generous and kind people that have made it possible. One only trades seeds, they do not sell seeds.
If I should come by some, Kadie. I will definitley keep you in mind. I would love to see them growing in your climate. Always nice to see them growing in a different location.

I would so love it! The Thai Soco seeds you sent me last year have been growing so marvelously! Hurray! And some day I will send you a couple of them if you'd like. Smiling
Here is Adenium Thai Soco "RiC," that I had named in your honor:

Kadie, I would like that, but I would not want you to go to the hastle of exporting here or taking any chance of problems.
We are best to stick with seed exchanges, I think.
I wish it was easier for me to share amongst the people here and elsewhere.

Kadie, if you do not mind me asking. What did I have the seeds labeled as and approximately when did I send them? I do remember sending some, but am unsure of which it was.

That tree of yours is simply amazing. Wow.

Rick, the little zip lock packet was labeled, "Thai Soco KHZ "Shada." You sent 10 seeds to me in latter June 2015, I planted them on June 30 in their own individual 4" pots, and they sprouted July 5 (all of them)...right smack in the middle of our last typhoon of the year. Sticking tongue out

Kadie, not that I would mind taking credit for the KHZ seeds and your beautiful tree, but I checked back and the seeds which I sent you where Mark Dimmitt's seed (Arabicum x Crispum & Arabicum Soodah).
Wondering if it may have been someone else?
Love tree either way.

They definitely were from you. I guess the packet was mislabeled? Could you tell me about Arabicum Soodah...growth habit, form, etc.

Of 4 Arabicum x Crispum seeds, 3 sprouted, but one of these didn't survive an experiment so I only have two now. They are very s-l-o-w growers.

The ones I had where Arabicum Dw. Soodah ( on Abel Soodah abha).
Not sure if I have any of those left here? Will have to double check.

The seeds I received are from two acquaintances through my time with different groups and they where so generous to send me some. They do not sell seeds. Only trade.

Kadie,
I do not have any of the Dw. Soodah seedlings any more. I gave them away last year to a friend in the Cactus & Succulent Society.
