You can check in on GW's Texas forum for what plants people have available so far. I don't bring very much these days myself.

Double post...I think I was meant to be twins! My younger sister says she once asked our mother (when my sister was over two years old) where her twin "Michael" was...the name my mother had chosen during that pregnancy for a possible boy. Freaky!

Well, I try hard to not bring any plants home. I don't know, I'm into natives and butterfly plants!

Just wanted to mention that if you would want a swap that is accessible to both central and south Texas gardeners, Landa Park in New Braunfels might be a good choice. We had a company picnic there before, and it was quite nice. Has a train and a playground for kids, and you can either get there early to claim a campsite or reserve a pavilion. Not sure of the cost, but wanted to throw it out there.

That's a great suggestion, @blueeyes! When we lived in San Antonio, we used to drive to New Braunfels for dinner. Not too far from SA and probably not too far from Austin and surrounds. Need to see how much interest there is before too much planning, I guess.

The GW group used to have a swap in San Marcos...that worked well, until they decided to redo the park that was used, then we switched to San Antonio. Too bad it's so darn expensive nowadays to use most park pavilions! That little park in NW S.A. used to be free as long as a swap participant lives in the neighborhood. Now, even that one charges.
