As long as it isn't stinky compost liquid, David. What I mean is, if you have your compost working nicely, and have made a "tea" of sorts by brewing some finished compost in a watering can, that will be fine for watering anything. Healthy compost that has broken down aerobically is dark and crumbly and smells just "earthy". Garden gold.

IF it's bad smelling stuff oozing from the bottom of your compost, that might be the sign that your compost is in an anaerobic decomp state again and the liquid would have toxic stuff in it that might not be good for plants.
