That is precisely how I put together everything. Sometimes it takes longer, but sometimes I can successfully put together things (not my greenhouse) quicker than if I had read through step-by-step. Sometimes I think those things are deliberately confusing. When it came to my temporary greenhouse for the winter, I had to do quite a bit of backtracking and redoing. Lol. I just switched back and forth between my own thing and instruction reading. Hope all ended up well. Thumbs up

James,..its nice to find i am not the only one to make a go at it without the instruction manual,..those manuals are like Microsoft Instructions Whistling still not finished the Mini Greenhouse,..weather was not suitable,..rain then cold,..i have to modify a bit as the long strips holding the polycarbonate panels in place don't seem to be all that secure so its glazing silicone sealant instead.

Haha. Exactly. How big is your greenhouse going to be? Mine is 6.5ft tall and about 9ft long. It was a MESS putting together--especially getting the cover on properly. I honestly just can't wait for our temperatures to stay at a +60F overnight so that I can take the thing down already.

6Ft by 6Ft,..its as long as i could fit in the only space left in the garden,..i do have another about the same size but the plastic keeps being reefed by the cats,..when they jump onto it from the shed,..claws come out and stay out until they reach the bottom causing big tears Rolling my eyes. i can well understand that problem putting the cover on properly,..it slides into the bargain.

Oh yeah. That's what cats are good at. Lol. They're so darn cute though and make good companions. I wanted a 6 x 6 originally, but then my containers seem to always duplicate somehow Rolling my eyes. , so I figured I might as well get a slightly larger one. We're currently in a rent house and don't know how long we'll be in this spot, so I didn't want anything too permanent.

You are right not to put down something permanent when you know you will move house and have to leave a permanent structure behind,..its a terrible situation to be in as it holds you back from,.. digging in,.. as they say,..containers is something i am nearly tripping over,..its a constant battle when there is a special offer on large containers,..fighting the urge to get just one more in case i need it Whistling

It's a struggle every time I go out. Haha.
I need to find a way to gift my containers to someone in need. My problem is that every time I up-pot something, rather than storing or getting rid of the previous container, I just magically find something else to put in it...and then the cycle continues.

I don't know if you have the "At Home" store over there. Ugh. It's like pulling teeth getting me out of there. I avoid that place the best I can. They have aisles upon aisles of both indoor and outdoor containers, and right now (since it's Spring) their entire "seasonal" section is all containers as well.

Same here,..i upgrade to bigger containers as plants grow then don't get rid of the smaller ones,..one job on my list is to clear out 12 years of very small pots piling up in my work area,..which has got smaller each year,..i hope to start as soon as the Mini Greenhouse is finished.

We don't have 2At Home" store but some very similar,..when i go for pet food i am drawn like a magnet into the containers and garden accessories section thinking,..just to look Rolling on the floor laughing

Must head off to bed as its 0315 on Sunday morning here,..catch you again James Thumbs up
