What can I use orange peels for in my flower garden.

You can sprinkle them around the garden to keep cats from using it as their litter box.
You can put it in your compost pile. Just cut them up in small pieces. They decompose nicely and give a nice scent to the pile. There are also a lot of household uses for citrus peels of all types.

I've heard, though not verified as I live in the north, that dried-grated orange peel will kill fire ants if placed around the mound. I do cut up and use citrus peels in my compost and have never had a problem with them.
