It seems taller than 24 inches here, but I haven't measured it. A great plant here: vigorous with strong color and reasonably well budded. Does take quite a bit of space.

A justifiably popular daylily that we grow in both England and France. It's very forgiving - in England, it receives at times buckets of rain; in France at times not enough water. It carries on flowering regardless. Visitors always love it. One of our favourites!

This is a lovely spider and I'm glad to learn of it. Tets do very well in my area and I've been trying to find more Tet spiders to add to my collection. Thank You!

This is an excellent plant. Grows like crazy and I have to divide it about every 2 years. It is sunfast and I also believe it grows taller than 24" here. The only negative for me would be it won't set pods but everything else about it is super.

I had two blooms of Spider Man this past year, it's first season in my garden. Spider Man is a gorgeous red with a nice shape; in my garden, the petals had a slightly pinched look, which I find highly appealing. It isn't my favorite daylily, though...not yet, anyway, but I do like it's attractive, solid red color and we'll see how it performs in its second season in my yard.

A friend shared a start of Spider Man with us in 2010. She has hundreds of Daylilies and told me this was her husband's favorite. It has become a favorite at our house too. It is a strong grower and great bloomer. I've divided it several times and have it growing in two different gardens.

Spider Man rocks!
It is a very robust daylily in my garden (Zn 5b)--it made an impressive clump in short order and tolerates my neglect with food and water very well. It gets covered with buds for extended bloom--I've never actually paid attention to when it starts and finishes, but it is a blooming machine for a good while longer than many others. I have never had rebloom later. Holds its color and form well in the blazing afternoon sun and has earned its prominent spot on the sunset side of a mixed bed.

Red is not my favorite color but I love this one! Lovey dubby
Planted in my front yard where it gets morning sun but shade in the heat of the day.
Strangers walking by have asked what it is as it stands out.
Grows taller than 24" (closer to 36-40" but the shade may be part of that)
I have not tried to hybridize it so no report on fertility.
Love what you teach and teach what you love!

This is Spider Man's first season of bloom in my garden, and I love it! I won a gift certificate from Oakes Daylilies in March 2017, and Spider Man was part of my order. Its deeply saturated red blooms are impossible for me to pass by without taking photos. They rise above the foliage and draw my attention from a distance. Spider Man is already a favorite!

Spider Man is an early morning joy to see. For a red it is pretty sunfast, but does not stay pristine looking when the sun really heats up, but holds its color much better than most.
Taller here also, reblooms here, and is about as rust resistant in my garden as any plant.
Here is a photo I just took at about 1:30 and the temp. at 91 degrees.

I've had Spider Man up by the house for a long time. It is one of the early bloomers, which is nice but it doesn't bloom that long here. This year, it went from June 20 to July 8. It's a pretty cheery plant, maybe slightly taller than registered but close. It's in a very hot sunny spot, so doesn't need to reach for sun.
