Neal, your new standard is gorgeous and looks great where you've put it - everyone coming into or out of your house will enjoy the scent.
And your garden - oh superb - my favourite gardens are those that have a feeling of 'free flow' and are not too regimented - it must be wonderful to wander through it. Love the tulips peaking out from behind the bench!

Neal, your French Lace looks really lovely the way you have placed it at your entrance! And the little violas finish it off nicely!

I have April Moon; it is at least two years old - so perhaps it is the wrong one. I will get a photo when the wind calms down.

The April Moon in our database is a Buck rose. It's probably the one you have, Porkpal.

Cindi, I painted all the pots- never could find what I wanted for a reasonable price so I went on a painting kick. It's been 3 years now and some are starting to peel, but it has worked out better than I expected.

Sounds like Scamp. HE thought he was a mountain lion. He even stalked deer ...

Kasey is about 6.5 lbs and has no fear, except of the chickens. One of them would chase her and she then decided she didnt want to go pee outside anymore if they were out. The living room rug or kitchen floor became first choice. We had to put up gates to block the living room and now that the chickens stay in their run most of the time, she's better about going out again.


Penny is my 7.5 lb. near toothless sweetie. Yesterday I trapped two gophers and as I was carrying one to bury it, she got a good sniff of it and tried to grab it. Today she was obsessed about digging for another one. She made a real mess and had to have a bath this evening and now that I have another trap set out, I'm going to have to watch her as she goes out.

Kasey and Penny are adorable; it must be such fun having them with you in the garden. I hate not having a dog, as kids we always had them (up to ten at a time!) But we travel a lot and I think it wouldn't be fair on the dogs - so perhaps once we slow down a bit more...
