I hope to see my S. nevii looking like that some day. I got it last fall, so maybe it will take off growing this year. Great specimen Sean.

So here's the back-story for those so interested. Shortly after I had joined this site (moving from that other site of recent note), I felt sufficiently auspicious enough to decide to try my hand at banners. (Some may call it hubris.) Consequently, I went at it. This was among the first that I did. Several banners that I attempted "disappeared."

Then I started really looking at the wonderful banners you all do. I got intimidated and largely abandoned the intent. I can fall prone to the "leave it up the pros." Perhaps with your encouragement, in spite of my less than perfectly stellar landings here, I will try again... as I think, should you. Thanks much for the welcoming spirit. Many acorns or not, the thumbs up and encouraging words from you are still most appreciated. I tip my hat to you.

Several banners that I have attempted have also disappeared (and quite a few more in the accepted but never scheduled line-up should also get cleared out in the delete category -- I would delete them if I could, but as it is, I see them hiding in there and wonder what was I thinking Hilarious! and I hope they never run)

By all means, Yes!!! let us all keep trying Thumbs up
