'Silver Sword' is a evergreen tetraploid introduced in 2008 by Sandy Holmes. Sandy hybridizes at Riverbend Daylily Garden in Xenia, Ohio. See her website:

SILVER SWORD...have loved it since introduction, and it continues to blow me away. Heck, look at my picture (above), ..how could you not love it? My goal is to add green to it, and will see those results this coming season.

Are the blooms really 8.5"? It is a beauty when looking at the photos! And it's an evergreen. I wonder if it shows some rust resistance?

I only got it from Sandy about two years ago, had to move it last fall and despite that, it has increased well. Blooms are that big here, this one's a beauty.
The only thing better than one bloom is multiple blooms of it!

This has been a great plant in my garden. The flower is gorgeous and it's been a great parent for tall, well branched, and watermarked kids. It's a very hardy evergreen.
