Maybe Maxillaria tenuifolia would also work for you Jacques..and it is coconut-like scented too:

Maxillaria tenuifolia looks great; thanks, Tarev.

I ran into Pleione formosa that has a rather large flower for a small stem. I tried to upload a picture, but I just got letters and numbers. Is there a place where there is an instruction sheet about acceptable picture type and size? hanks.

Pretty!
I remember a fellow showing pictures of his window sill in the Spring with a whole bunch of these. It was really showy!

Jacques, as for the name of a Psychopsis that I would recommend, try the Psychopsis Mendenhall 'Hildos' . Big flower and attractive foliage.

Here's P. Mendenhall, on its 3rd bloom. The blooms take forever to open but once they do, they last forever too.

Who could resist a name like Psychopsis that has spots and a crazy hairdo?
