I always forget about the other threads in this forum, too.
Lithodora will grow here IF you treat it like an annual.
I used to get it in 4" pots at the local farmers market for $2.00 but that vendor doesn't come anymore. It did great up until about November and then that was it.
I love the way Lobelia reseeds and you get tons of freebies.
I had ONE lobelia show up in the foundation at the front of the house this past summer and I'm hoping it's still there and has multiplied. Lithodora was seen at Fred Meyers' nursery this past year at $6 for a 4" as I recall......I don't think it will work in with other things I've got going right now, maybe later

I started out with only a couple in pots and I now have them all over the garden, coming up in different variations too.
Bill Wallis geranium is also a great reseeder, started out with one years ago from Anne's Annuals and it's every where. I pull them where I don't want them. They intermingle with the shrubs, roses and daylilies so nicely. A couple of older shots.
This is the prostanthera with the needle-like foliage, looks rather like a westringia..
The erica arborea in flower....I need some of these...
it's already past its brilliant white stage, fading some..

This salvia skanbergii at the Brookings Library seems to be constantly in bloom...Brookings is more banana belt than we are and it's next to the asphalt....
