It is nice to know that we are not the only one (s) seeing this!

I will start with this...I was washing dishes ...day dreaming...looking out the window .....a faint buzzzzzzin' in the background nagging nagging........and this is what crossed my mind...

Flies are like Dr.Phil's guests....they get caught behind that seemingly shut-tight window wall....they holler and buzz and beat their wings against what would seem to be certain death....wailing about their hopeless situation.....and then when some nice person OPENS that window and bids them fly..........they hang onto the sill....too afraid to grasp freedom from whatever plagues them......

I was so happy happy happy to hear this because Imlove coconut any way...any how...any time.

Here is the description from the ad

Okay, you made me curious. It actually does have coconut as the 5th ingredient, but sure not what one would expect. Some ice cream would taste good right about now.

Well, why the heck didn't they not say that?? I cut and pasted that entire description. I am going to a different site. Wonder if it is is added coconut in a flake or in the ice cream flavot.

Hubby heads upstairs to loft to put in a DVD - his usual Sunday night activity.
I am reading downstairs - my usual Sunday night activity.

Interesting sounds/ music drifts down from the loft...... After a few minutes.....

Me: "What are you watching?"
John: (silence)
Me: "John!" "What are you watching?"
John: (silence)
Me: "JOHN!!"
John: "uh umm, uh... I don't know..."
Me: "You DON'T KNOW????"
John: "There are so many previews, I forget what I put in the player....."

And he is right..... We pay for DVDs ....to watch ads ...

Well...I tracked it down and bought a pint. Skipped lunch too. What a waste. I had such high hopes. The coconut in the ice cream is shaved coconut mixed into the vanilla cream. .first bite..good. Like a mounds bar...but the coconut ( supposed to be all natural ) altho plentiful..tasted and felt like wax! Shaved wax! The vanilla ice cream, the fudge flakes and the caramel..all fine..but that "coconut" ruins it! And I do love coconut.

Cohen ( from Ben and Jerry) has talked about the prospect of creating a Sanders-themed frozen treat for several months now. On the website www.berniesyearning.com Cohen unveiled pictures of the new ice cream and said he's made 40 pints, 25 of which were donated to the Sanders campaign. People can enter a contest to win the remaining pints, which will be autographed by Cohen himself.

Here's how the flavor is described on the carton:

"The entire top of this pint is covered with a thick disc of solid chocolate. Underneath is plain mint ice cream. The chocolate disc represents the huge majority of economic gains that have gone to the top 1% since the end of the recession. Beneath it, the rest of us."

There are also eating instructions:

"1. Take back of spoon and whack huge chocolate disc into lots of pieces. 2. Let the ice cream soften up a bit, mix the pieces around - and there you have it, Bernie's Yearning. 3. Dig in, and share it with your fellow Americans!"

Well, bummer on the wax taste to your ice cream. Perhaps you can buy a flavor you like and mix in some caramel and chopped up mounds bar pieces.

DH makes us ice cream sometimes. One of the best had Nutella in it.

Whatever...... I just cannot imagine how damages at that $$ level can be awarded when folks who are wrongly accused of a crime are exonerated after spending 10-20-30 years...a lifetime...with geat loss ....only to have to fight for damages... are awarded 1-2-3 million.

My guess would be that those seeking damages from the government are getting paid with taxpayer money while the other is a lawsuit against a for-profit corporation. I've never studied up on the issue, though.

Yes, that is correct..but they have been more damaged. It is backwards. It costs taxpayer $$ ( millions ) to try some of these cases too.

A mall brawl.....a dad beating up the mall Easter Bunny...in front of all the kiddies waiting for their turn to take photos.

For shame!

And....after the police came...it was learned that the parent...and the bunny.....both had outstanding warrants.....both are in jail.....

I read a report today about another accident involving a car driven on autopilot

The driver in Montana was headed from Seattle to Yellowstone National Park when he crashed on a two-lane highway near Cardwell, at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, said Montana State Trooper Jade Shope. Neither the driver nor his passenger were injured in the accident, but it was serious enough that the car lost its front passenger side wheel.
"It's a winding road going through a canyon, with no shoulder," Shope told CNNMoney. The driver told Shope the car was in Autopilot mode, traveling between 55 and 60 mph when it veered to the right and hit a series of wooden stakes on the side of the road. Tesla confirmed that the data it has from the car shows it was in Autopilot mode, and that the driver likely did not have his hands on the wheel.

The car repeatedly signaled the driver to place hands on the wheel because of the roads winding uncertainties.

Can you imagine going 55/60 MPH with no control on this type of road?? What the??

Those autopilot cars are truly evil. Only a lunatic would buy one and use it!
