Sun was high and I was under my almond tree waiting for some shots. Then I saw this on a low branch that was above me.

Thanks for everything, everyone.
This fly is one of the nice subjects for photographing - for its colour. At the same time, so tricky to take up close. I have gone close enough for a macro and the photo of its eyes is in some folder - have to dig.
