Many of mine are putting out leaves like crazy. but one already has buds. I have been trimming the dead back to the new growth. I got a larger trellis made using 2 old fence post with chicken wire attached between. Then I got one moved over to it. I was afraid, but it made it and it putting up shoots.

Lovely, Anna. Several of mine have swelling buds but no blooms yet. I also have a couple of iris
with buds and a neighbor down the street has a purple one in bloom! It's going to be an early spring.
Can't wait for the show to begin.
