Sounds nice.

We do have a search feature on the site for dl where you can enter the color and it will bring up only black daylilies. Have you tried that?

Dany - Go to ATP homepage. Look to your left at all the options listed and click on "Plant Database". It will take you to a new page. Look to your right and you will see "visit our custom databases", click on "daylilies". Another new screen where you will look to the middle of your screen under "search and browse". Click on "search by characteristics (height, bloom color, etc)". Scroll down that page until you get to "color description". Type in "black" and see all the various daylilies that come up under that search.

Sounds like a very cool hybridizing goal! I hope you will share photos of some of your seedlings when they bloom!

I looking for daylilies which I can find in Europe and which can brings something new for dark daylilies as lot of buds (more 50), lots of branching, mini bud size (less 7cm 2.75Inch), or size over 11inch.
But it's not very easy, because the market of daylilies is less developped than in usa or Canada.

(I am not sure my english is very good)

Your english is good. I understand your problem. If you know names of daylily cultivars, then perhaps you can ask your local nursery or daylily seller in Europe to try to obtain those cultivars from the USA?

I'm not familiar enough with what daylilies are available in Europe to help you with your black program, but I can give you a few links to try for European growers/sellers.

In this first one, in the box on the left go down to "Links". If you click on the European Daylily Links it will give you a list of growers with links to their websites.

This link will take you to Francois Verheart 's website which has an on-line catalog. Francois may be able to help you.

Both of these can be found on Francois's website.
Victorian Gardens Star Bright, popular here. This link is to our ATP database page.

Rolling Raven is a 10 1/4 inch black spider. This link is to our ATP database page.
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Rolling Raven')

When you said a small, dark daylily the first one that came to mind was Little Donny Darko. I don't know if it is available in Europe.
