Not sure which category these go in, but found them at the local nusery and thought them interesting. Thinking about adding them to my garden. Maybe?

The top part is Euphorbia canariensis cristate. Not sure what the bottom part is. It will not be winter hardy so you will have to bring it indoors for winter.
Very interesting plant Marti. Thumbs up

I found the paper I had written down the name on, finally!
The tag on the plants said

Euphorbia lactera (Crested Euphorbia)

I have had one for several years now and just love it as an indoor plant. It can almost be "shaped" by where you place the light. The little pink tips are not seen as bright in the picture but add color. They too grow best in brighter light.

I am pretty sure Lowe's is where I got mine, but I have had it for quite awhile now. It is very easy to care for, thrives on neglect. I love any cactus that does not poke me or leave stickers in my fingers! Green Grin!

I love the way Marti's first picture has leaves. Mine never did so it must be grafted on something else.

From what I found. They graft them on two different stocks. Euphorbia Lactea (which can grow to 10 feet) and Euphorbia nerifolia (the India Good Luck Tree). The latter one seems to give me problems. It seems in time to rot off the graft and has to be planted on it's own. The ones grafted on it own kind (E. lactea) takes the graft the best. Also they revert back to it's original type (E. lactea). I have the 'Ghost' or white with the pink tips kind. In the above picture of the yellow type is what I have been looking for in many years. When I first purchased mine, it just had a fan, but then kept growing all out from many places.

CareBear,
It is odd, the India Good Luck cactus, was what I thought the leafed version looked like. Had one years ago that outgrew my house and I gave it to a nursing home.

My cactus that I presently have looks just like the 2nd one down with red writing (a bit greyish with pink tips.) Now I have the Latin name, thank you so much.

Thank you. I have a major repotting coming up. Hope I don't mess it up. The soil I use is a very heavy sandy type. Not the gritty mix with the fast draining. I need some thing to keep it from being top heavy and always falling over.

Well your potting mix seems to be working great.
