Is anyone familiar with this and how to remedy it? There is white fuzz in the crook of the stems of this jasmine plant that has been indoors all winter. (It is also turning yellow, which I suspect is just a nutrient deficiency that I can fix.)

I was thinking mealybugs too. There look to be insects on the leaf on the right also, can you get a close-up of those? One looks somewhat like a whitefly. The yellowing could be from feeding by such sucking insects.

Thank you, Carol and Sue! I have never seen those on any of my plants before, so I had no idea it was a big problem. Ugh! I can't deal with mealy bugs tonight, so my plant just got sentenced to the garage for now. I may end up throwing it out because it looks like a much bigger problem than I realized at first.

There is not enough good light inside and it was so windy outside, the leaves were bouncing around and making it impossible for my camera to focus and for me to get a great picture.
