This is not Aloe descoingsii but another aloe, most likely Aloe humilis or a hybrid. Do you have any more information about this plant, like a flower picture, which would help with ID? Otherwise I would like to propose that it be moved to the Aloe parent listing. Thanks.

I moved it to the generic aloe entry.

Baja, if you hover your mouse over the thumbnail images or enlarge them, if it came from a nursery or location other than the photo submitter's garden, you can see it in the caption. Many of us have contacted vendors and gotten permission to add their images. In this case, I just checked Mountain Crest Gardens and they have a totally different image for this one now which looks correct.

Sorry, I am not going to be able to track down where everybody gets their images... my feedback reflects my experience and what I learn from reading. I will leave the sourcing up to the other members. Thank you for moving the image. Smiling

No need to track or source it Baja, I just meant if you find an error, (and we really appreciate your help!! I tip my hat to you. ) then at least from the caption you would know if this was their image or from another source. When you enlarge any image to make your comments, the caption, if any, is right there above that image. So if you see the credit to another source, you'll at least know the member wouldn't most likely have any additional images or info. My post was more of an FYI, for you and any other members not familiar with it. Thumbs up
