I think I will ask for a small hand welder for mothers day.

Welders?? Or solder guns? I think for heavy things welding is the way to go. No?

@MISSINGROSIE Love your "step planters" Until I enlarged it I was thinking those were pretty steep steps but upon seeing the larger version I got the picture.

For the cooking herbs. It was fun making and painting. The planters were kinda pricy but the stair was dirt cheap

Yes! I wasn't drunk...I just don't proofread... And with a survivor case ..it doesn't pick up all the taps on the screen or picks up too many. The iPad manufacturer won't even install these cases...of course they don't massacre electronics like I do.

Rosie, I like your stair planter and dragonfly! The bird bath also caught my eye, it looks like a holy water font, did you make it yourself? It is certainly elegant!

No. I got it years ago up near Boone. It won't hold water...but I don't see a crack. i am going to fix it one of these years. I usually grow geraniums in it.

I found an old small fan that had been discarded and noticed it had six blades - or whatever those things are called that cool. I disassembled the fan and bent every other blade up and the others down. I put it on a piece of rebar and put the rebar in the ground.

My metal iris. I thought about painting it but I kinda like it natural and its also fun to not notice it until you are right upon it.

Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?

Wow, the pallet planter with petunias (say that 3x's fast) is gorgeous

And what a cool way to use some old doors and store your yard tools at the same time! You should never throw away coffee cans - you can always do something with those
