Well..you could brew up a BIG bucket of soapy water ...those would make some crazy bubble wands

Those are used for dipping / making colord easter eggs...the eggs sit in the center

Hang it from the small loop end and the big end tie lines into and hang keys off of ..a gsrden chime.. Or spoons or forks or a combo.

Flip it - small end down - and hang a mirror strand from it..sparkle..sparkle ( or flip it back and hang several from the bigbend ...those will cast fairy lights all over the ground..

wave shiny beads onto the wires or fill with pretty colored stones and use as garden stakes.. I imagine they woukd hold a label for you..

Use as two side hooks with a wire between for mirrors or beads ( like a short clothes line )

Fill with peanut butter and seed for the birds. The squirrels will never be able to steal from it as it sways hanging from a tree.

You could stuff with battery driven miniature lights ( the biggest could hold several small sets ) and hang each separately from a hook on the porch or wherever..the cage end would hold the battery end nicely and have it be hidden with the lights around it

You could make the body from...anything recycled.wood..wire....etc and the two matched sizes could be fastened on the back and again stuffed with lights...a garden angel or a dragonfly..
Just quickly thinking ...about a half curtain rod (wooden) ) or some kind of wood pole with a round finial for the head..

Two bigger = legs
Two smaller arms
And the rest of the body = stacked graduated clay pots...you have een those garden people

Fill with glass 'rocks' hang under tree canopy ..tree ornaments

Hang on a hook inside your sink cabinet to hold brillo or sponge
Bathroom cabinet to hold a few favorite lipsticks ..beats rummaging thru the crowded makeup drawer

I looked at the photo, and nothing came to mind. You're truly a creative thinker, Rosie! You came up with some great ideas for them. I'll have to look in my kitchen "junk" drawers. I know I have a lot of things that haven't been used since I got them.

Years ago, Inordered a copper "wok" supposedly made by starving children. Cost me $60 (donation) ..I fpdid not expect much...and was not disappointed!! It had rust!! Ha! I tossed it - dangerous. Since then....I have thought of a dozen uses...and so now...I think before I toss!

Yesterday, I went into the garden...and found two more phlox sheared off at the ground. $20 down the drain... just reinforces the value of art in the garden for color and fom.

If I catch that #+!!<€ blasted vole...I am going to STUFF it with all the shredded roots I have and hang it in a tree with a flower in its mouth!

I feel the same way about the voles, moles, gophers, rats, mice, rabbits, and deer! They make it very hard to have plants in a garden. I'll have to do more yard art. At least it's relatively permanent!

I bought these worms....fake ..... Bait.....
Makes 'em bleed to death..if it is a mole...a flesh eater
If it is a vole...those eat herbaceous ..and so no worm ( even fake ) appetite..

6 worms $17.97 with a "bonus" of 4 extra for "free" ....right...... At that price, ain't nothing free.

I read the directions....I could not do it. Make them bleed to death... Instant death I can do...but slow...not so much...plus what if that little turtle that wanders thru finds that "worm" ?

so...I settled for castor oil... Let 'em get a case of the runs...that'll show em!

Ok...here is something on my 'do something with' list!
I promised on one of the threads I would photograph.
This is a good one - recycling.

I got these for $.25 cents EACH.
There was this shop that specialized in old tools
Apparently..tools are not good for selling metal..because tempered or something??

Anyway, the fellow said the other part (the drill part) was gone and no use for these.

(Uh oh...no use??)

Well, I saw a PLANT STAKE. These are very very very heavy.
I could slide a bottle over
I could glue on top..

Get this..I TALKED him down from a buck a piece! He thought he got the better deal!
I am catholic..I can just confess that wee bit of foolery!
The brick is to show you the size.
Great find!!! Go to the fellas tool shops they don't know what they got!

Are they manual drill bits or motorized?? I think they are the old fashioned crank type wooden drill.

They look like they would go on a roto-hammer which sounds like a hammer but it actually drills into concrete.
