"I could learn to love that peach Superman Rose. "

Hah! Well, trust me, it would be the easiest of lessons to learn!

Personally, I think it might be a Superwoman rose, it has SO much more personality than a Superman rose. Rolling my eyes.

Off to find something to cook for tonight's grub.

Later...!

It's either 2 or 3 years old - mostly I LOVE the way it changes colors.

And it's a drift rose Sharon, not a knock-out - I did say the right Shoe, right??? Confused

Yep, you got it right,Vic... A "Drift" rose, but carries the same qualities as the Knock Out. (Introduced by same people.)

Shoe (nearly COLD here today, overcast, too)

I guess I missed that it was in the knock-out family.

It IS beautiful and so colorful!

Fire up that wood stove Shoe. We had our first fire in the shop yesterday and then just opened the door into the house. It's chilly to cold over here too. We both have long pants and long sleeves on. Brrrrrrrrrr

Mornin'....

I'm trying to get over Shoe's latest chicken epistle blog post.
I have no clue why I read that whole thing. See, I have this ungood thing about chickens. Never had a very good relationship with a single one of them. Still don't.

But I hung on to every single word he wrote about the poor 3 legged chicken and its purpose in this world.

Cool here too, 62-ish, but sunny and warming up. Funny how it went from a hot dry summer overnight into a cool dry fall the next morning. I'd like to get rid of the 'dry' part of that.

And the knockouts keep right on bloomin'.

Heheheh, "But I hung on to every single word he wrote about the poor 3 legged chicken and its purpose in this world"

I think you are confusing that ONE legged chicken with my friend's 3-legged coon dog, Tripod.

I had a 3-legged chicken once though; trouble was he ran so much faster than other chickens I could never catch him for supper.

That is so funny, Shoe. Made me spew my sweet tea.
Can't believe I wrote that.
Can't believe I laughed so hard the cats came to see what was the matter.

A 3 legged chicken would be a moneymaker. Bonus drumsticks. Chicken races, probably other possibilities!

Keep her laughing, Shoe, she needs that!
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
