Welcome to my garden. Had some hail damage a couple of weeks ago, but things have recovered nicely.

Oh, Joanne. Everything's so neat and trim and perfect. I love the colors of your doors, and the house in general. The petunia baskets everywhere add so much, and what's that fabulous thing hanging from the top of the gothic-shaped arbor?

Thanks Zuzu. Some of my baskets got over watered when we went on vacation, so they aren't as nice as other years...Oh well, it happens. There is a ball of Hen's & Chicks hanging from the arbor. It is two 1/2 round wire baskets tied together and I planted it 4 years ago . The varieties are hardy here, so I throw the ball into the flower bed for the winter and 90% survive. I usually had to replace 2 or 3 in the spring and hang it back up for the summer. It works out great since they don't need to be watered. This photo was taken in 2009 -same ball, with a racy flower.

The ball is stunning! You've motivated me. I think I'll do that next year.
