I am new to Castle Rock, Colorado. We live on 35 acres and would like to start organic farming. Had some lovely soil delivered and am starting with a 40 X 20 garden. Any suggestions on how to keep the deer from eating everything would be appreciated.

Welcome.

A tall fence all the way around..and I would dig a trench and lay about 6-8 inches minimum under the earth ..rabbits..moles ...and voles ( research to see how deep the moles may go in winter ) If the deer can get a running start..make it tall, although they can jump pretty high from a stationary position. I am sure there are sprays that would be fine in the organic garden but to me..a fence is more dependable and once erected less work.
Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
